Besides redevelopment and new businesses opening, Richmond Highway is also experiencing a splash of color. The building located across from Domino's on Route 1 at the North Kings Highway intersection was once a bland white or beige color. That color was recently changed.
Most of the front of the building was painted lime green. Previously, the building housed St. Clair Appliance store. When Patch visited the building Monday afternoon, the following hours of operation were posted: Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
However, there is currently no sign of what is being done with the building or if a new business will soon open. Patch will keep an eye on the building (because it's hard not to), see if any other changes will be made and find out information on what Alexandria residents should expect.
