Patient First Opens in Kings Crossing

The urgent and primary care center had its ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday.

Patient First staff, Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce members, and representatives from the Southeast Fairfax Development Corporation were on hand Thursday for the ribbon-cutting of Patient First at Kings Crossing.

Patient First, an urgent and primary care center, chose the Kings Crossing location due to its growth and activity.

"The area's growing so quickly that we thought it'd be a great area for the business," Patient First spokeswoman Tara Ghavham said.

SFDC executive director David Versel says the Route 1 corridor has been changing and enticing new businesses to open their doors and stay.

"There is more evidence of the area's transition and changing demographics where businesses like this want to move to Richmond Highway," Versel said.
