Mamma's Kitchen to Donate Proceeds Tuesday

Ten percent of today's proceeds from Mamma's Kitchen in Hybla Valley will go to help the homeless

Hybla Valley's Mamma's Kitchen restaurant will donate 10 percent of all its proceeds Tuesday to United Community Ministries.

"I'm really excited about it because it goes to those who really it," said Mamma's Kitchen owner Marianna Johnnides.

All customers have to do when they order a meal is tell their server they are there to help UCM. The non-for-profit organization in Hybla Valley provides emergency shelters and services to needy families.

"They are our neighbors right down the street and they are phenomenal supporters," said Sarah Stone, spokeswoman for UCM.

Mamma's Kitchen is also accepting canned food donations for UCM.
