Beacon of Groveton to Host Sunday Funday
The Beacon is inviting the public to join them for food, games and beverages Sunday afternoon.
The Beacon of Groveton is hosting a Sunday Funday event at 1 p.m. this weekend. They are inviting the community to join them in good food and beverages while enjoying the football game and getting to know their new neighbors.
Wood Residential and Wood Partners held an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the property in early November. The Beacon of Groveton is a brand-new apartment community of 290 units with ground-floor retail space.
Fairfax County Supervisors Jeff McKay and Gerry Hyland attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony to show their support for the opening and the continuous redevelopment along the Route 1 corridor.

The Beacon at Groveton is located at 6870 Richmond Highway. Sunday's event will also provide the opportunity to tour the property and check out the amenities and "aviation-themed design," said PR Manager Molly Hippolitus.
