What is happening in and around Hybla Valley this week
We may see some snow this week in Hybla Valley on Tuesday, if the National Weather Service forecast pans out.
Monday: Expect to see a high near 34 degrees and mostly sunny. You may want to check out the lecture on military history at the Hollin Hall Senior Center. The program takes place at the center on 1500 Shenandoah Road at 10 a.m. After 1 a.m., there is a slight chance of snow with a low around 26 degrees.

Also on Monday, the Alexandria Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Advisory Committee meets to discuss how BRAC will affect the Alexandria area. The public meeting will take place at the Alexandria City Government City Hall on 301 King Street in Alexandria at 5:30 p.m. For more information, check out http://www.alexandriava.gov

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 37 degrees and a low around 25 degrees. Wednesday evening, Hollin Meadows Elementary will hold its monthly PTA meeting. A pizza dinner starts off the meeting at 6:15 p.m. Childcare will be provided. The meeting is at the school cafeteria at 2310 Nordok Place.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 34 degrees and lows around 20 degrees.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 33 degrees.
