View Finder - Fort Hunt Celebrates Dr. Seuss, Odyssey Competition

Also: Inova Mount Vernon Hospital celebrates recent accomplishments

  •   celebrated its most recent accomplishments with a toast on March 3rd.
  • To celebrate Dr. Seuss's Birthday, former director Kathy Hoke visited dressed as the Cat in the Hat to read and act out Green Eggs and Ham. The school says at the end of the story Hoke even gave green eggs and ham a try(and liked them). Local librarian Lucy Kinsey was around to help.
  • A team of 5th graders from Fort Hunt Elementary  came in 2nd at the Regionals last Saturday at West Potomac High School. A skit earned the team the highest "long-term solution" score out of the 28 teams who chose to do that problem.
