People in the community attend the summer and fall Mount Vernon Farmers' Market held at Sherwood Hall library. Customers choose from a wide range of fresh vegtables, fruits, flowers, and bread.

The Farmers' Market is open from May to November at 8:00 - 12:00 every Wednesday.
