Progreso Literacy and Citizenship Center Seeking Volunteers

English as a second language teachers are needed at center.

Progreso Literacy and Citizenship Center is seeking volunteer English as a second language teachers to help refugees and immigrants improve their English skills.

Volunteers must be able to teach two two-hour classes per week. Morning, afternoon and evening slots are currently available. 

A curriculum is already in place for volunteers to use. Orientation and training take place prior to being placed with a class.
