Local Artist Featured on FOX Morning Show
Dave Cochran created a portrait for the show.
Mount Vernon-area artist David Cochran was featured recently on the FOX Morning Show with Holly Morris.
Cochran said in his newsletter that he was asked to complete a portrait connected with Fashion Week in Alexandria, beginning at 6:30 a.m. and finish by 9:30 a.m. He was filmed painting in progress six times during the broadcast, then had a final showing and a short "infomercial" about his "Different Kind of Family Portrait" series.
Cochran's studio is located at 105 North Union St,. No. 317, in Alexandria.
