Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Mount Vernon will host its second 5K run to kick off the 38th Annual International Festival. The run will begin at 8 a.m. Aug. 31 at the church grounds located at 8710 Mount Vernon Hwy.
Children are also invited to participate in the 5K youth run or the 1K youth run. Those interested in participating can register for the event online. Registration is open until Aug. 30. There will also be limited registration from 6:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. the day of the event.
Registration Fees:
5K Adult - $25
5K Youth (16 and under) - $15
1K Adult - $15
1K Youth (16 and under) - $10
Family limited to 4 entries - $60
*All online registration will have a $1.75 processing fee added to the final payment.
The International Festival will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 2 on the church grounds. Festival proceeds benefit local non-profit groups as well as the Shepherd's Gate grant program. Click here for more information about the 5K/1K Run.
