1. The Mount Vernon Farmers Market is open from 8am – 12pm today in the parking lot of the .
2. Tonight at 7:30pm, the quarterly membership meeting of the Friends of Dyke Marsh at  will feature a presentation by  Mr. Jim Cummins on the 'The Restoration of the American Shad on the Potomac River.'
3. Tonight from 6pm to 8pm, the Mt. Vernon Kiwanis meeting will be held at the  and Jose Fratti, manager of UCM's Food Pantry, will speak.
