West Potomac High School Tag Day

WestPo Students Go Door-To-Door Sept. 14th

Local residents will hear a knock on their door Sept. 14th -- "Tag Day" -- as teams of West Potomac students canvas the area seeking support for the school's fabulous Fine Arts Department.  Teams of students will go door-to-door delivering a "tag" inviting residents to their band, drama, chorus, orchestra, guitar and piano events for the year. Because the Fine Arts are not fully funded by FCPS, these students rely on the generosity of the community to keep these activities at their best. Every year, the donations from Tag Day go toward musical instruments, costumes, uniforms, transportation to competitions and events, and more. The result is two-fold: an enriching experience for our students, and an outstanding offering of performances for the community to enjoy. Please keep your eye out for our kids on Sept. 14th! (If you'd like to support the students but will not be home that day, you can go on the school's website and click the "Tag Day Donations" button.)
