The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the FCRHA Board Room of One University Plaza, 4500 University Drive, Fairfax, Virginia, on a proposed amendment to the Huntington Conservation Plan (Plan).
The proposed Plan amendment is requested to bring its standards for the Huntington community land parcel, identified in the County Comprehensive Plan as Land Unit T, bounded by Huntington Avenue, Biscayne Drive, Glendale Terrace and Blaine Drive, into conformance with the zoning and planning requirements contained in the current Fairfax County Zoning Ordinance and Comprehensive Plan.
The current Huntington Conservation Plan, as revised in 2001, is available at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/rha/huntingtonplan.pdf ; the proposed revisions can be found at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/rha/amendment_huntingtonplan.pdf. Hard copies of the existing plan and proposed revisions are also available at the Sherwood Hall Regional Library.
