 hese children need dedicated\, caring advocates to help ensure that thei
 r best interests are represented in court.\nThat's where \, or CASA volu
 nteers\, enter the picture. CASA volunteers investigate a child's situat
 ion and speak for the best interests of the child. Volunteers visit the 
 children on their cases twice a month and interview social workers\, the
 rapists\, teachers and other professionals\, all the while gathering inf
 ormation to report to court. Volunteers receive extensive training and a
 re supervised by a professional staff.\nIf you seek a volunteer role wit
