Family Moving Sculpture Workshop

Art at The Center, 2804 Sherwood Hall Ln, Alexandria, VA | Get Directions »
$15.00

Join us in the studio for an exploration of simple robots and moving sculptures.  We will use a variety of art and recycled materials along with vibrating motors to create unique one-of-a-kind creations that zip, buzz and spin around on a flat surface.
We will follow a design process of sketching ideas before jumping in to build.  Guidance will be offered in construction and attachment strategies.  Tuition includes one vibrating motor per participant and materials for building.  If you have any unique parts you would like to bring, feel free to do so.

This workshop is designed for children and adults to work together and is a great multi-generational outing.
