Consider coming out to Heritage Presbyterian for a fun new class intended for the whole family! Elder Bill Sams will be leading a nine-week class about the life of Jesus. We'll meet in Fellowship Hall and use the big screen for a multimedia study experience featuring a 10-minute video each week, interactive maps, 360-degree virtual tours of biblical sites and light discussion. This will be a great time for fellowship following the Summer outdoor worship service, or before the traditional service. We'll have coffee, milk and juice, light refreshments, and assorted chairs, so skip breakfast, bring the baby and the kids and get ready to dive into the sites, sounds and locations where Jesus trod. The video documentary we'll be using is titled In His Shoes and in addition to the on-site explorations features interviews with biblical scholars, authors such as Max Lucado and William Young (The Shack), Israeli archeologists and noted pastors. Your understanding of biblical times and the life of Christ are sure to grow, and how much better to do it along with your whole family! Of course individuals of all ages are welcome too! The class will run July 8 through September 2. If you miss a week that's okay, each session stands alone too.
