In this case, I used it properly. You stated: 'Unfortunately, too many people do lack enough logical skills and would really believe that statement.' More than just logic is lacking today, like COMMON SENSE." ____________________________________________________ I guess I gave you more credit than I should have. Why would you assume that the story is true because you did not see it on a hoax site? This simply means that it has not been evaluated. If they had researched the story and found it to be true, then that would be a valid reason to conclude that it was a true story.

Great post! It is sad how disconnected we have become with the true definition of words likeRead More "patriot" and "patriotism." "Patriotism" is not measured in terms of religious faith, the volume of ones voice, or a hatred of anti-capitalism. A true Patriot is a person who is willing to stand up and fight for their nation as a whole. Someone who understands that in order for a government to succeed, it must take into account the needs of all its constituents. A person who knows that you can't get everything you want, all of the time. Sadly, I can think of few politicians today who fit this definition.
