The choral program is inviting alumni, parents and community members to rehearse and perform Part 1 of Handel's Messiah.
The West Potomac High School Choral Program is preparing for its performance of Handel's Messiah Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. The program is inviting alumni, parents and community members to join in the performance.
"The four WPHS choirs will be joined by local community singers as we sing one of the most well-known choral works of all time," said Choral Director Ernest Johnson. "The soloists are four alumni who have continued singing professionally after leaving our program."
Upcoming rehearsals are Dec. 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Dec. 10 and 18 with the orchestra from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets for the performance are $10 and will be available at the door.
