- Alexandria Singers: The Alexandria Singers present "Yule School Reunion" in three shows this weekend at Convergence on Quander Road in Alexandria City. Tickets range from $5 to $20. (Friday, 7:30 p.m.; Saturday 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.)
- Wolverines basketball: The West Potomac boys' team will play at Centreville High, while the girls play Centreville at home. Which team will you show your support this week? (Friday, 7:30 p.m.)
- Belle Haven Womens' Club: The Belle Haven Womens' Club will celebrate its 75th year with a gala at the Belle Haven Country Club. The event is black tie optional and promises great food and a live band. (Saturday, 7 p.m.)
- Wolverines swimming: The West Potomac swim and dive boys' team will face off against Annandale high school at South Run RECenter in Springfield. (Saturday, 7:30 p.m.)
- Mount Vernon RECenter Pubic Skate: Tired of skating on the ice in your driveway? Head to the rec center and do it for fun! The Mount Vernon RECenter hosts weekly public skates. (Sunday, 12:45 p.m - 3:30 p.m.)
