Patch wants to know which games are the must-sees for sports fans across Fairfax County; which are those that truly rise above the rest?

Every week, Patch will ask its readers to choose the Patch Game of the Week, featuring the game that earns the most votes at the end of each polling period.

Here's how it works:

• Each Thursday, Patch editors will pick a handful of matchups between Patriot District schools scheduled for the next Monday through Friday.
• Students, parents, teachers and other community members will have five days to vote for which game should be named "Patch's Game of the Week."
• On Monday, the game with the most votes will win and earn special coverage for their matchup that week.

This week, the choices are:

• Golf Regional Tournament between Annandale, South County Secondary School, T.C. Williams, West Potomac, West Springfield, Lake Braddock: Monday, Oct. 1 and Tuesday, Oct. 2 at time TBD.
• West Springfield Field Hockey vs. Lee: Monday, Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
• Cross Country Meet between Lee, South County Secondary School, T.C. Williams vs. Annandale: Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 5 p.m.
• Lake Braddock Volleyball vs. T.C. Williams: Thursday, Oct. 4 at 7:15 p.m.

Voting begins at 5 a.m. today and ends at 11:59 a.m. Oct. 1. Only one vote per user — tell your friends and family to log on to pick their favorite, too!
