Friday night, Aldersgate Church Community Theater opened its production of "The Little Mermaid Jr." to a full house. Directed by Michael Page and Corey Latta, the story is adapted from the Disney classic movie and Broadway musical about the mermaid Ariel.

If you missed the opening performance, the production has the following upcoming shows:

• 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20
• 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21
• 7:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 25
• 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26
• 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27

Tickets are $10 for children, students and seniors and $12 for adults.
