Shop for a Cause at Ten Thousand Villages
The Mount Vernon Unitarian Church will host its monthly Social Justice Movie Series tonight.

1. The Mount Vernon Unitarian Church will host a screening of A Most Unlikely Hero tonight at 7 p.m.
2. Start your holiday shopping at Ten Thousand Villages in Old Town on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. A portion of all proceeds from that night will be donated to Good Shepherd Housing.
3. Sherwood Regional Library will host an open house on Saturday at 11 a.m.
4. The Scottish Christmas Walk Parade takes place in Old Town on Saturday.
5. On this day in 1939, New York City's La Guardia Airport opened.
