SFDC Launches New User-Friendly Web Site
New design launched Tuesday has more information and data to improve users' experience.
Southeast Fairfax Development Corporation (SFDC) launched a redesigned Web site on Tuesday.
The improved Web site features a vibrant new look and additional features that enhance the ability of citizens, businesses, and developers to get information and participate in the revitalization of Route 1.
“This new Web site reflects the energy and focus of SFDC as an instrumental stakeholder in the revitalization of Richmond Highway," SFDC Marketing Committee Chair Tom Shaw said in a statement. "It is accessible for all our community partners and residents who share our vision and common agenda.”
New features include a newsletter sign-up form, links to social media, and RSS feeds for news, events and real estate listings. Web site visitors can view regularly updated information about current projects in the Route 1 corridor, an event calendar, demographic data, a database of historic images, information about transportation options and information about retail, recreation and historic resources.
There is also a new free database of available commercial space and properties, which allows business owners and brokers to easily search for retail, office and commercial spaces available for lease or sale. Brokers and property owners may add to the database free of charge.
