Registration Open for 2013 George Washington 10-K and More
Runners can choose from a 10-K, 2-K or the following day's Parade Mile route.
Registration is open for the George Washington 10K Race and 2K fun run, and for the Parade Mile race on Parade Day in Alexandria.
The 10K race and 2K fun run will be Sunday, Feb. 17. The Parade Mile takes place before the George Washington’s Birthday Parade, Feb. 18.
The Sunday events start at 8 a.m., and race headquarters is located at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria.
The Parade Mile Monday allows fast runners to run the parade route at 12:30 p.m. just before the parade’s 1 p.m. start time. Runners should meet at the parade reviewing stand by City Hall in Old Town.
