Police Hold Free Medication Disposal Service
Operation Medicine Cabinet Cleanout will take place Monday through Saturday.
Mount Vernon-area residents who need to dispose of unwanted medications can do so safely through Operation Medicine Cabinet Cleanout, held Monday, April 16, through Saturday, April 21.
The program is a service of the Fairfax County Police Department. Residents can bring unused or expired medications (pills or liquids, but not pressurized canisters or needles), to the Mount Vernon District Station anytime, day or night, during the week. The disposal container will be in the police department lobby.
