Crash (blue on map), 9:50 a.m., Jan. 23, Richmond Highway/Frye Road, A 67-year-old woman was crossing Richmond Highway in a crosswalk and against the walk signal. She was struck by a 1998 Chevrolet Astro van and transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Assault (yellow on map), 4:45 p.m., Jan. 17, 3500 block of Rolling Hills Avenue, The two victims, 18 and 22 years old, reported the suspect, a neighbor, allegedly brandished a knife and threatened them. Robert Rains, 46, of Alexandria, was charged with two counts of assault.

Burglary (green on map), 2:50 p.m., Jan. 18, 3400 block of Audubon Avenue, A resident reported someone entered the home and stole a television. Forced entry was made through a rear door.

Burglary (green on map), 6 p.m., Jan. 18, 7500 block of Republic Court, A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items to include alcohol. Forced entry was made through a window.

Robbery (red on map), 5 p.m., Jan. 21, 8500 block of Richmond Highway, A store clerk reported the business was robbed. Two suspects, a man and a woman, entered the business and the woman went behind the counter to get cash from register. The other suspect grabbed the clerk and brandished a knife. The two fled with the cash.
