Police Arrest Hybla Valley Woman in Fatal Road Rage Case
Gloria Alfreda McMillan, 32, was charged with felony hit and run.
Police have arrested Gloria Alfreda McMillan, 32, of Hybla Valley, and charged her with a felony hit and run that left a 21-year-old woman dead Friday on Harrison Lane, according to a Fairfax County Police Department news release.
The victim, Shelinda Delores Arrington, lived in the 3300 block of Lockheed Boulevard. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled that the cause of Arrington’s death was a crush injury.
Detectives identified, located and seized the suspect vehicle believed to be involved in what has been determined to be a case of road rage. The suspect vehicle is a black 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer and police located it in southwest Washington, D.C.
Police responded Friday morning at 11:24 a.m. to a report of an assault on the 7000 block of Harrison Lane, just south of the intersection of Harrison Lane and South Kings Highway. Two vehicles were on the side of the road—one was a sedan and the other was a light-colored SUV, according to Fairfax County Police Department Public Information Officer Bud Walker. Police later reported a third vehicle was involved in the incident and had fled. It was that vehicle police found Monday in southwest D.C.
Arrington had reportedly gotten out of her car and engaged in a conversation with the driver of the dark SUV after what may have been a near-accident. At some point the situation escalated and the driver of the dark SUV allegedly hit Arrington with the vehicle, throwing her several feet and ultimately killing her.

Why would you take the life of a person, someones mother, and sister, not to mention daughter. They should give your ass life for what you did.

Knowing her father like i do i dought Shelinda was looking for confritation. This is a sad story, and hits hard to the heart. This woman should be ashamed of herself and sit in jail until she meets her creator. She took someones child away over ignorance! I will keep this family in prayer.

how could the police say the driver didn't do this intentionally when she has a record of reckless driving? not to mention numberous felonies-i'm sorry, but in my opinion, this was intentional. i don't think the girl should of gotten out of her vehicle and jumped on the suv, but she didn't deserve to die, either.
