West Potomac's cross country teams had a strong showing at Wednesday's Patriot District showdown at Burke Lake Park, taking first place and second place overall.
The girls team took first with Sarah Jane Underwood and Dale Lescher taking fourth and seventh place respectively.
Meanwhile the boys placed second overall. Brady Corum took fourth place in the individual rounds with teammate Corey Rosenberg taking 12th place.
