Newt and Callista Gingrich to Sign Books at Mount Vernon
Newt and Callista will both sign copies of their latest books.
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and his wife, Callista, will be signing copies of their latest books at Historic Mount Vernon on Saturday.
Newt Gingrich will be signing copies of his latest historical novel titled "Victory at Yorktown: A Novel," the last book in the George Washington series.
The book is described in this excerpt from the Mount Vernon Estate:
"It is 1781, and Washington and his army have spent three years in a bitter stalemate, engaging in near constant skirmishing against the British. Washington decides to embark on one of the most audacious moves in American military history. He will take nearly his entire army out of New Jersey and New York, and force march it more than three hundred miles in complete secrecy. It is a campaign ladened with “Ifs” but the stalemate must be broken, otherwise the American spirit, after six long years of war, will crumble."
Callista will also be signing copies of her children's book, “Land of the Pilgrims’ Pride”, the second in her New York Times bestselling series.
The signing will take place at the Shops at Mount Vernon on Dec. 15, from 4 pm to 7 pm.
