HCA Elects New Officers
Two serving officers welcome two new officers to Huntington Community Association
The Huntington Community Association elected new officers at its monthly meeting Thursday night.
After an update on a planned Sunoco gas station and a redevelopment presentation from a representative of the nearby The Huntington Club, the HCA had a short time left to elect its officers for 2012.
Nominations were held at the HCA's October meeting. Over the course of the month, two candidates for dropped out, leaving a single nominee for each position. As a result, all officers were elected without any votes against.
Here are the HCA's officers for 2012:
- President: Harry Shepler of Fenick Drive (current Vice President)
- Vice President: Stephanie Leedon of Arlington Terrace
- Treasurer: Tereena Jones of Arlington Terrace
- Secretary: David Coon of Farrington Avenue (current Secretary)
The HCA will meet Wednesday, Nov. 16, to resume discussion on the future of the community following severe flooding in September. All HCA meetings are held at the Huntington Community Center.
