Metro Service to Reagan National Airport to Close This Weekend

Trains will be back on schedule Monday.

Metro will shut down access to Reagan National Airport this weekend due to track work on the Blue Line.

Both the airport and Crystal City stations will be closed beginning 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Trains will terminate at the Braddock Road and Pentagon City stations.

Shuttle buses will operate between those two stations, making stops at the closed stations. Metro advises that riders traveling through the work zone allow an additional 30 minutes of travel time to their schedules.

Metro Access is a door-to-door para-transit service. It is not being affected by track work. Title to article is inaccurate

Sorry about that -- we forgot Metro Access is an actual service. What we meant was "Access to the Metro station at Reagan National Airport...". We'll make that more clear.
