The Hybla Valley McDonald's will soon be getting a new look.

The fast-food restaurant located on Richmond Highway and Fordson Road has been torn down and will be reconstructed. A sign outside the restaurant reads "Rebuilding for You."

McDonald's has been renovating its restaurants around the country, including a recent rehaul of the one in Mt. Vernon. See a photo here from November of the completed rebuild.

Check Patch for updates on construction and the reopening date for McDonald's Fort Hunt restaurant.

How is this the "Fort Hunt" McDonald's particularly if its location is Richmond Hwy and Fordson Road? I thought that area was Hybla Valley?

Queenie, Hybla Valley is in Fort Hunt. Fort Hunt is covered in the "Greater Alexandria Patch."
