With the National Weather Service (NWS) calling for three inches of rain before 2 a.m., Fairfax County officials say moderate street flooding may occur in Huntington.
"We’re sitting right here on Fenwick and Fairfax Terrace, and there’s no water on the streets," Merni Fitzgerald, Fairfax County's Director for Media Relations, told Patch.
Numerous residents living in the floodplain of lower Huntington also report no flooding currently. Power is also on for most of the block.
Despite falling levels at the Cameron Run, heavy rain in a short time could lead to street flooding late Saturday night into early Sunday morning, according to Steve Aitcheson, Fairfax County Department of Public Works.
Officials advise Huntington residents to move their cars to higher ground immediately, if they haven't already.
Supervisor Gerry Hyland is also with the group of county officials at the bottom of Fenwick Drive, Huntington tweep @ajfroggie reported.
Patch will continue to monitor the situation. Follow our Hurricane Irene live blog here.

I'm sorry but as far as I know (and I live on Arlington Terrace) Fairfax Terrace is the bit of gravel that cuts through Huntington Park. How old IS this map? I'm sure Merni Fitzgerald meant they were sitting at the dead end of Fenwick.
