Staples Offers Free Electronics Recycling
HP and Staples now offer free electronics recycling nationwide, including at the Staples located at 7708 Richmond Highway. The service is available to consumers and small businesses, regardless of the brand of the device or where it was purchased.
Items accepted include desktop PCs, laptops, netbooks, tablets, external hard drives, small servers, computer monitors and accessories such as printers, desktop copiers, faxes, mice, keyboards, modems, routers and speakers. Staples will also accept shredders, streaming devices, phones, Universal Power Supply battery backups, GPS devices, MP3 players, digital camcorders and digital cameras.
“Staples free tech recycling program will help increase the number of electronic products that are safely recycled,” Mark Buckley, vice president of environmental affairs for Staples, said in a news release.
