LEXINGTON, VA -- Meredith Elizabeth Mitchell of Alexandria, Va., received a BSC degree from Washington and Lee University on Thursday, May 24. Commencement ceremonies for 401 Washington and Lee seniors were held on the university's historic Front Lawn.

Mitchell majored in business administration.

Washington and Lee University, the nation's ninth oldest institution of higher education, is among the nation's premier liberal arts colleges and universities.
