Curves Food Drive to Help UCM

We Need your Bag of Groceries!

Every year Curves of Belleview has traditionally held an annual food drive to bolster the communities’ food banks.  Last year’s efforts generated over 1372 pounds of food and over $566.00 in cash for United Community Ministries.  This year’s efforts have been slow starting as a direct result of the potential government shut down.  “Thankfully, with the fear of the furlough now behind us, we are hoping for a dynamic community out pouring of food!” stated Curves Owner Veronica Howard.  In an effort to entice ladies to take the challenge of gathering 1500 pounds this year, Curves will waive the service fee in exchange for a healthy bag of non perishable groceries.  A fantastic program that strengthens the community two fold;   Providing an amazing healthy environment for ladies to thrive and,  building up the areas highly depleted food banks.  The food drive promotion will be ongoing throughout the month of April.  Don’t miss out on an opportunity to shape up for spring and help out the community we live in.  Stop by the Curves of in the Belleview shopping center today.
