Fort Hunt Elementary will be hosting the 11th Annual 1 Mile Thanksgiving Fox Trot on November 17th at 9 am at Fort Hunt Park.  This great community event boasts runners in all age groups, strollers and even dogs!  After the race enjoy bagels, donuts, bananas and coffee while DJ Bob entertains us with great music before the awards presentation.  The top 3 finishers in each division receive a prize.  The top overall male and female finishers will bring home a Thanksgiving turkey!  Race DC Timing will provide bib chip timing and tally the results.   Register online at http://tinyurl.com/foxtrot2012 or contact kcfricka@cox.net for a paper registration form.  Cost is $15 per registrant.  Deadline is November 14th.  The first 500 registrants will receive a free Fox Trot t-shirt.  Register early!
